Crater Lake Panorama

Crater Lake National Park is in south-central Oregon in the western United States. It has exceptionally deep blue color and water clarity. The lake partly fills the 2,148 foot deep caldera that was formed more than 7,000 years ago by the collapse of the volcano Mount Mazama. With a depth of 1,949 feet, the lake is the deepest in the United States.

This photo was made using 4 separate exposures that we "stitched" together side by side to get a very high resolution final image.
