Twisted Bristlecone Pine at Bryce Canyon

Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah is a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. These "amphitheaters" are filled with geological structures called hoodoos, formed by frost weathering and stream erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rock.

Bryce Canyon has some of the oldest Bristlecone Pines in the world including one estimated at 1800 years old.
