"M 17 - The Swan Nebula"

- Embedded in the star clouds of Sagittarius, the Swan Nebula is a remarkably detailed cloud of nebulosity. The bright yellow portion of the nebula gives it its nickname - "The Swan".

The red portion makes the shape of another its nicknames - "The Omega Nebula".
