"The Crescent Nebula - NGC 6888" Wolf-Rayet Star

- The Crescent Nebula shell of gases surrounding an unusual type of star called a Wolf-Rayet star. These stars are very hot, fast living and fast dying stars. The nebula is created as the massive star ejects its hydrogen into space. There are approximately 200 of these nebulae known.
